A study of magnetohydrodynamics model of blood flow is made with single walls carbon nanotubes, copper (Cu), tin $({\rm TiO}_2),$ and alumina $({\rm Al}_2{\rm O}_3)$ and Cu as base nanoparticles through a circular cylinder. The fluid inside the tube is acted by an oscillating pressure gradient and an external constant magnetic field. The whole study is based on a mathematical model that includes Caputo fractional-order derivatives. Solutions for the blood velocitie, blood temperature distribution, and blood concentration distribution are obtained through the Laplace transform and expressed by the Wright function. Effects of the fractional-order parameter, magnetic field, the magnetic parameter $M,$ the Grashof numbers Gr and Gm, the dimensionless time $t,$ and the Prandtl parameter $Pr$ are addressed using numerical simulations. Results show that the applied magnetic field reduces the velocities of the fluid and particles. However, under long time intervals, particles seem to be accelerated, but their velocity is suitably controlled by the fractional-order parameter.

This paper introduces a novel mathematical model for capturing the complex dynamics of drug abuse within populations. Departing from conventional methodologies, the model employs global derivatives to integrate non-local effects, thereby offering enhanced insight into the spread and evolution of drug abuse. The stability analysis and numerical simulations conducted in this study reveal critical thresholds and dynamic behaviors that are instrumental in understanding the persistence and potential escalation of abuse within communities. Numerical simulations also demonstrate the long-term behavior for different orders of $α,$ and the effects of the function $g(x)$ are presented, further elucidating the intricate interplay of factors that govern the system’s dynamics. These findings not only shed light on the underlying mechanisms driving the temporal and spatial patterns of drug abuse but also provide valuable guidance for designing effective intervention strategies aimed at mitigating its spread. By systematically manipulating key parameters, the model serves as a powerful tool for exploring the driving factors behind drug abuse diffusion and control. The insights gained from this research have significant implications for public health policy, offering a rigorous mathematical framework to inform targeted efforts in curbing the epidemic of drug abuse.

From a 3-factor model of storable commodities discussed by Liu and Tang (2010), we consider a cash market model such as futures exchange with a single futures contract on one such commodities and a money market account. After verifying that this model is arbitrage-free and incomplete in any finite time horizon or delivery date, we show that there still exists a possibility to generate exponentially growth risk-less profit in long term; a form of asymptotic arbitrage conjectured by Föllmer and Schachermayer (2008) and first solved by Mbele Bidima and Rásonyi (2012) in financial security models. And we find that works in this paper generalize our recent works in Tadesse Welemical et al. (2019) on Schwartz’s one-factor model of commodity futures.

In this paper, the proof of the global existence of a renormalized or equivalently mild solution of the relativistic Boltzmann equation in a Robertson-Waker space-time is given for an initial value problem with initial data only satisfying the conditions of finite mass, energy, inertia and entropy.

This work concerns the existence and uniqueness of square-mean pseudo almost periodic solutions of infinite class in the $\alpha$-norm. The results are obtained using analytic semigroup, fractional $\alpha$-power theory and by making use of Banach fixed point theory. As a result, we obtain a generalization of the work of Zabsonre et al. [Partial Differential Equations and Applications: Colloquium in Honor of Hamidou Touré, Springer, 2023] in the deterministic case, without unbounded delay. Our results extend and complement many other important results in the literature. Finally, a concrete example is given to illustrate the application of the main results.

Patriotism is a changing, complex force inside a nation, whose manifestations are determined by factors as diverse as success in sports, scientific discoveries, cultural pride, economic development, and the presence of national heroes. This study develops a generalized mathematical model for patriotism as the sum of these effects, both emotional and enduring. In particular, the model records surges in patriotism after major sporting victories due to the transience of these surges, for instance, after the victory of the Indomitable Lions or the boxing exploits of Francis Ngannou. In contrast, the model also underlines the long-lasting characteristics of patriotism shaped by scientific progress, such as a Cameroonian being ranked high in mathematics, cultural legacy, infrastructure expansions, and economic development. The sports effect is a series of ephemeral spikes in patriotic sentiment triggered by importance and emotional resonance. In contrast, both the science and infrastructure effects are slowly cumulative processes that build a longer foundation of national pride. These effects, alone and in combination, are shown in the visualizations of their contributions to patriotism over time. This work emphasizes the importance of acknowledging and effectively harnessing these myriad influences for a strong, cohesive nation. The insights are actionable, helping leaders to stimulate a rational yet productive sense of patriotism that is engaged with national development, starting with emotional stimuli but progressing to more permanent investments.

Interoperability cost analysis is a continuous trend in enterprise information systems. Researchers have made the most significant contributions in this field. The problem we address is to show how to optimize interoperability costs within a networked enterprise. To overcome this issue, we have used a genetic algorithm in which, the fitness function that we have defined is a new model for optimizing the interoperability cost. To show how organizations validate and verify the solutions obtained through interoperability cost analysis and what measures are taken to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the results, we have conducted a case study within a networked enterprise. The results of the interoperability cost analysis show that the inter-organizational business process studied is not adapted to the interoperable information system and does not allow the evolution of the network after a certain number of years.
