It was proved by Bahouri et al. [9] that the Schrödinger equation on the Heisenberg group $\mathbb{H}^d,$ involving the sublaplacian, is an example of a totally non-dispersive evolution equation: for this reason global dispersive estimates cannot hold. This paper aims at establishing local dispersive estimates on $\mathbb{H}^d$ for the linear Schrödinger equation, by a refined study of the Schrödinger kernel $S_t$ on $\mathbb{H}^d.$ The sharpness of these estimates is discussed through several examples. Our approach, based on the explicit formula of the heat kernel on $\mathbb{H}^d$ derived by Gaveau [19], is achieved by combining complex analysis and Fourier-Heisenberg tools. As a by-product of our results we establish local Strichartz estimates and prove that the kernel $S_t$ concentrates on quantized horizontal hyperplanes of $\mathbb{H}^d.$

In this survey, we present a literature review on the study of traveling waves in degenerate diffusion equations by illustrating the interesting and singular wave behavior caused by degeneracy. The main results on wave existence and stability are presented for the typical degenerate equations, including porous medium equations, flux limited diffusion equations, delayed degenerate diffusion equations, and other strong degenerate diffusion equations.

This paper concerns the asymptotic behavior of solutions to one-dimensional semilinear parabolic equations with boundary degeneracy both in bounded and unbounded intervals. For the problem in a bounded interval, it is shown that there exist both nontrivial global solutions for small initial data and blowing-up solutions for large one if the degeneracy is not strong. Whereas in the case that the degeneracy is strong enough, the nontrivial solution must blow up in a finite time. For the problem in an unbounded interval, blowing-up theorems of Fujita type are established. It is shown that the critical Fujita exponent depends on the degeneracy of the equation and the asymptotic behavior of the diffusion coefficient at infinity, and it may be equal to one or infinity. Furthermore, the critical case is proved to belong to the blowing-up case.

In this paper, we prove the global existence and uniqueness of solutions for the inhomogeneous Navier-Stokes equations with the initial data $(\rho_0,u_0)\in L^∞\times H^s_0$, $s>\frac{1}{2}$ and $||u_0||_{H^s_0}\leq \varepsilon_0$ in bounded domain $\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^3$, in which the density is assumed to be nonnegative. The regularity of initial data is weaker than the previous $(\rho_0,u_0)\in (W^{1,\gamma}∩L^∞)\times H^1_0$ in [13] and $(\rho_0,u_0)\in L^∞\times H^1_0$ in [7], which constitutes a positive answer to the question raised by Danchin and Mucha in [7]. The methods used in this paper are mainly the classical time weighted energy estimate and Lagrangian approach, and the continuity argument and shift of integrability method are applied to complete our proof.

The regularity for 3-D MHD equations is considered in this paper. It is proved that the solutions $(v,B,p)$ are Hölder continuous if the velocity field $v\in L^∞(0,T;L^{3,∞}_x (\mathbb{R}^3))$ with local small condition $$r^{−3}|\{ x∈B_r(x_0):|v(x,t_0)|>εr^{−1}\}|≤\varepsilon$$ and the magnetic field $B∈L^ ∞(0,T;VMO^{−1} (\mathbb{R}^3))$.

The one-dimensional compressible Navier-Stokes-Vlasov-Fokker-Planck system with density-dependent viscosity and drag force coefficients is investigated in the present paper. The existence, uniqueness, and regularity of global weak solution to the initial value problem for general initial data are established in spatial periodic domain. Moreover, the long time behavior of the weak solution is analyzed. It is shown that as the time grows, the distribution function of the particles converges to the global Maxwellian, and both the fluid velocity and the macroscopic velocity of the particles converge to the same speed.
